TOPPING
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a greased 8x8" pan, combine mix, milk, 1⁄2 cup sugar, eggs, vanilla, 1 tsp spice and baking powder. Set aside.
- For topping, in a bowl, combine peaches, remaining sugar and spice. Place on top of base and press in gently. Do not mix. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Bake 45 min.
Serve with ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
